Welcome to Karstens’ Gallery. I’m Kim Karstens, and I am creating this gallery to share my artwork with you, and soon the artwork of other Northwest artists. Have a look around, my gallery is filled with a variety of paintings that I hope will inspire and bring joy to your life!

I come from a family of artists. My parents and siblings work with mediums such as stained glass, woodworking, oils and acrylics, and jewelry. My medium of choice is acrylic on paper and canvas. I have spent the past four years painting landscapes, flowers, commissioned portraits of families’ pets & homes—all in a whimsical style with a touch of realism that is unique and colorful.

I live in Seattle with my husband Stewart and our maincoon cat Chloe. When I’m not painting, you can find me tending to my gardens, cooking for family and friends, playing rummikub, golfing or sitting on our deck enjoying one of Stewart’s craft cocktails.

You may see me at local art shows and events, and I’m available to connect with you for commissioned work. This summer I’ll be at a few local shows and events , with the hope that you will come meet me in person and shop my crafts.
