Welcome to Karstens’ Gallery. I’m Kim Karstens, and my gallery is filled with a variety of paintings that I hope will inspire and bring joy to your life!
I come from a family of artists. My parents and siblings work with mediums such as stained glass, woodworking, oils and acrylics, and jewelry. My medium of choice is acrylic on paper and canvas. I have spent the past five years painting landscapes, flowers, commissioned portraits of families’ pets & homes—all in a whimsical style with a touch of realism that is unique and colorful.
I live in Seattle with my husband Stewart and our maincoon cat Chloe. When I’m not painting, you can find me tending to my gardens, cooking for family and friends, playing rummikub, golfing or sitting on our deck enjoying one of Stewart’s craft cocktails.
